City of London
• Cadent works along Victoria Embankment have been completed ahead of schedule and White Lion Hill, Upper Thames Street, Blackfriars Underpass and Victoria Embankment westbound will re-open on Sunday 26 August 2018 .

• Cannon St and King William St re-opened on Sunday 19 August. Bank junction restrictions are now fully operational 7-7 Monday to Friday. Find all information on penalties on the Bank Junction`s page HERE

• New environmentally friendly tariffs apply for on-street parking. Older, more polluting vehicles will pay a higher charge but low/zero emission capable, cleaner vehicles will pay less. Find more information on City of London`s website HERE

• This August Bank Holiday weekend Smithfield Markets will celebrate their 150th anniversary with an extensive programme of cultural events. Road closures will start on Friday and end on Monday morning. All information about Smithfield 150 and road closures can be found on the Culture Mile`s website HERE 

Clapham Common – From 11:00 until 23:00 on both Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August, Nightingale Lane will be closed. Temporary traffic lights will be in place along Rookery Road between Clapham Common South Side and Long Road. Increased pedestrian numbers in the area are expected, including Clapham South station and the A205. This is due to an event.

Westminster – From 12:00 until approximately 17:00 on Saturday 25 August, there will be various road closures in place from Millbank to Hyde Park including Parliament Square, Whitehall, Trafalgar Square, Cockspur Street, Pall Mall, Regent Street St James, Piccadilly, Hyde Park Corner, Park Lane and their approaches. A contra-flow will be in operation on the western side of Hyde Park Corner. This is due to a march.

Notting Hill Carnival – From 12:00 until approximately 23:59 on Sunday 26 and from 07:00 on Sunday 26 until approximately 06:00 on Tuesday 28 August, there will be various road closures in place around the Notting Hill area. These road closures will be from Harrow Road in the north, Notting Hill Gate in the south, North Pole Road in the west and Queensway in the east. Increased traffic levels and delays are expected around A5 Edgware Road, Harrow Road, Holland Park Avenue, Notting Hill Gate and Bayswater Road. Please use alternative routes where possible.

Bayswater – From 08:00 on Tuesday 28 until 18:00 on Wednesday 29 August, A402 Bayswater Road will be closed eastbound between Inverness Terrace and Lancaster Gate. Bayswater Road will be closed westbound on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 August. This is due to resurfacing works on behalf of Westminster City Council.

Euston Station – Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August 2018
There will be no services to or from London Euston on Saturday and Sunday, due to Network Rail track and infrastructure work.
